The event saw a highly qualified presence of companies, operators, and technicians specializing in different areas, from home automation and telecommunications to energy and security, smart cities, mobility, and addressing global warming. An edition that reopened the calendar of in-person trade fairs, featuring a rich exhibition area and a dense program of educational and informative meetings organized in collaboration with numerous scientific and institutional entities at both national and local levels.
“We are pleased with this new edition of ‘Smart Building Levante’, the first in Bari after the long hiatus of trade fairs caused by the pandemic, which allowed professionals in the field of technological innovation in the home, building, and city sectors to meet again and develop new projects and future businesses together,” said event manager Luca Baldin. “The collaboration with the Municipality of Bari, local authorities, the Polytechnic University of Bari, and also with ACMEI, one of the main distributors of electrical and electronic materials in Southern Italy, was important. The quality of the meetings was very high and reinforced our belief that moments like this are extraordinary opportunities for sectoral growth. Especially now, with the acceleration we are witnessing in the digital and energy transition.”.
There was also significant interest in the first edition of the “Bari Smart City Conference,” organized by Smart Building Italia in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari. The conference featured the contributions of around thirty Italian and foreign experts who discussed the challenge of the ecological transition of cities located in the warm climate regions of the Mediterranean. Among the attendees were also several hundred students from technical institutes in the province of Bari and the Puglia region.
